Nearly all questions in each of the JDs assignments will be scored out of three points. See the syllabus for explanations on the relative frequency with which to give 3’s, 2’s, and 1’s. In general, 3’s should be rare and demonstrate an unusually proficient understanding, 2’s should indicate a good understanding of the material, and 1’s should indicate an honest attempt with a misunderstanding.
Unless otherwise noted, we should aim to complete all grading for a given assignment within 12 hours of its due date. So if an assignment is due at 1pm on Wednesday, for instance, we should complete the grading that evening (in time for us to release scores, at the latest, early the following morning). If at any time you can’t make this deadline, please just let Carter know and we’ll work something out!
