Grading

  • You should not ask students about their grading basis (i.e., whether they are taking the course SUS or for a letter grade).
  • If you anticipate being late on completing your assigned grading for a given week, you should communicate with your Head Teaching Fellow, cc’ing heads@cs50.harvard.edu, before the grading deadline.

Academic Honesty

  • If you suspect a student has completed their work in violation of the course’s policy on academic honesty, you should respond to their work as usual. If grading their work, do not adjust the score yourself nor raise your concerns to the student. Privately email heads@cs50.harvard.edu with your concerns and, if possible, the submission in question.

Absences

  • You should communicate anticipated absences well in advance of the event itself, by emailing heads@cs50.harvard.edu.
